To implement an hydro power project in Sikkim, Nagarjuna Agrichem, an arm of Nagarjuna Group, is to invest over Rs 100 cr. The company said that its Board of Directors have approved the project. The Board approved the investment of 20% of the equity capital, which translates to about Rs 101 crore, to implement 300 MW hydro power project in Sikkim.

The contractors who bid aggressively are unable to close the project financially, hence are leaning towards selling them in the secondary market.
