International Finance Corporation (IFC) has aided $50 million to Smart Value Homes, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Housing Development Company for its affordable housing projects. HOUSING Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) is planning to raise around $75 mn from International Finance Corporation ( IFC). According to the Corporation, the proposed investment consists of a senior loan of up to $75 million. The proceeds from the proposed loan investment will enable HDFC to provide affordable housing finance to the underserved market of low to lower-middle income households in low income states in India. Agency reports indicate that the International Finance Corporation (IFC) will soon submit the environment impact assessment (EIA) report for the proposed Vizhinjam Port. After receiving the EIA report, the Kerala government will submit the same to the Ministry of Environment and Forest (MoEF).
