Western India Shipyard wins Rs 30 cr orders

Western India Shipyard has won five major orders for repairs and the order value is about Rs 30 crore. The order clients are M/s. Transocean for two jack up oil rigs, M/s Jindal Drilling for a jack up oil rig, M/s CS Offshore for an accommodation barge and a vessel from the Indian Coast Guard.


The orders will be executed over a period of three months. The repairs will include steel and pipe renewal, surface preparation and coating, machinery overhauling/installation, etc. The vessels will also undergo extensive dry dock repairs at the Company's Floating dry dock of 60,000 DWT capacity.
