STP: Building Value
The construction chemical industry in India is still treated as a sunrise industry. Till today construction chemicals are used in only 1-2 per cent of construction and that too partially. The average growth rate of the construction chemical industry is around 25 per cent per annum as estimated through various studies.
There are large number of players in this group of industry with varied status covering renowned MNCs, reputed Indian organisations and a large number of players from the unorganised sector, which makes this industry a little unpredictable. STP started its debut in construction chemicals in 1996 with a full-fledged manufacturing unit in Goa in technical collaboration with Euclid Chemical Corporation, USA, which is RPM group of company.
Today STP has two exclusive construction chemical factories at Goa and Ankleshwar, Gujarat.
In addition, STP also has the facility to manufacture certain construction chemical products in its other four manufacturing establishments at Chennai, Kosi (Near Mathura), Kolkata and Jamshedpur, where major products are bituminous and coaltar based products.
Possibly STP has the widest range of products as grouped below:

- Road Surfacing
- Pipeline Coating
- Other Powder Products
