JSW Infrastructure: Towards new horizons
JSW Infrastructure Ltd (JSWIL) is a $1.25 billion, JSW Group Company which is into development of ports, rail/road/inland water connectivity and other related infrastructure development works including cargo handling operations.
Buoyed by the Group´s cargo support, experience in marine infrastructure development and operations, JSWIL ventured into development of greenfield ports across the coast of India.
JSW Infrastructure under its port vertical facilitates smooth handling of imports and exports for bulk, break bulk, containers, liquid cargoes through the below mentioned SPVs :
A) Two dedicated bulk cargo berths at Mormugao Port with a total handling capacity of 8.5 MTPA.
B) At Jaigarh in Maharashtra, a greenfield multi-cargo deep water port (draft of 14m) with a present capacity of 15 MTPA, In its Phase II expansion underway, the capacity will be augmented to 60 MTPA by creating facilities for handling containers, Ro-Ro vessels, LNG, POL and offshore facilities.
C) JSW Dharamtar Port Pvt Ltd at Dolvi in Maharashtra handles the operations and maintenance at JSW Steel Jetty at Dharamtar in Maharashtra for handling 8 MTPA of cargo.
The company aims to create a port handling capacity of 150 MTPA through greenfield and brownfield expansions by 2020.
